The campaign system, and every piece in it

The challenge

Jack Said What is releasing more than 25 Rewires of Renegade Soundwave, one of the most influential bands in electronic music, with a new one every Thursday. The campaign was made hand in hand with the artists (Carl Cox, Altern 8, Leeroy Thornhill, Gaudi and Don Letts among them), so every week needed a full drop of content, shaped with them, approved and out on time.

What Scott C. Booth made

  • More than 40 pieces for the launch and the first five releases, 16 for Carl Cox’s week alone: teasers, out-now reels, carousels, artwork, Spotify Canvases, interview reels and a 31-minute podcast
  • A content pipeline delivering at least three new pieces every week: motion, 3D, reels, interview cuts and podcast edits
  • Interviews with the artists, and full podcast episodes, Carl Cox among them
  • Carl Cox week: interview reels, the kinetic podcast intro, carousels and a Spotify Canvas
  • The Phantom vinyl film, with the record in 3D
  • A new artist every Thursday so far: Leeroy Thornhill, Nookie and Binary State, Gaudi and Don Letts, Carl Cox, Altern 8
  • A live campaign map for approvals and distribution, with review pages for the label
  • Templates the label can roll out itself
  • Release reports every Monday and Friday

The Book of Blonstein on a marble table
The Book of Blonstein cover, large title

The challenge

Blonstein Productions has produced shows, parties and brand worlds for decades. Its archive holds tens of thousands of images of that work, and its founder, Sara Blonstein, has a story that is the brand’s strongest asset. The opportunity was to bring that story forward, and give every side of the work a place on the feed beside the fashion weeks it is known for.

What Scott C. Booth made

  • The archive, mapped and graded
  • The strategy: seven pillars, five story tiers and a new feed mix
  • The Book of Blonstein: cover artwork and the launch
  • Reels from the archive: the press reel, Why Now and Michael Nyman at Roksanda

What the research found

  • Tens of thousandsof archive images mapped, with thousands individually graded and sorted into seven pillars and five tiers.
  • Seven pillarsof story in the archive, from transformed spaces and brand worlds to royal and civic events, fashion’s emerging talent and the parties.
  • The founderis the brand’s strongest asset. Her own videos outperformed the feed, so the plan put her story at the centre.
  • An open laneacross the whole category: ten rivals, and nobody owns it yet. Decades of work give Blonstein Productions the material to lead.

What happened

Since the Book of Blonstein launched on 27 July 2026, against the year before.

  • 47 to 97median likes per post
  • 3 to 9median comments per post
  • 356likes and 62 comments on the launch post
  • 4,897plays on the press reel, the most watched of the archive reels

A London art production company
Role
Custom website, content system and ongoing care

The challenge

A London art production company, whose work runs from Vogue Italia and Elle France covers to celebrity campaigns, had outgrown its Wix site. Work at that level needed a website built for it: one that shows every film and photograph at its best, carries the new brand, feels fluid on any screen, and lets the team update it themselves.

What Scott C. Booth made

  • A fully custom website, designed around the work and built from scratch in Next.js, with no template deciding how it looks or moves
  • A page for every campaign: films that play as you browse, full-screen deep-dives, galleries and credits
  • A phone layout made for the thumb: the mission statements swipe like an Instagram carousel
  • Sanity, a content system built into their own site: the team adds projects, films, credits, services and policies themselves, with a live preview before they publish, and its own manual
  • Mux streaming for the films: unbranded, at full quality, and adapting to each viewer’s connection
  • Credentials decks that open on their own site, ready to send to new clients
  • Ongoing care since launch: steady improvements and new features as the team needs them

The films and photos on the site are Killer’s own work, not Scott C. Booth’s.

What happened

WorkApproach

Approach

Small teams deserve the thinking and the making big brands pay agencies for. This is how they get it.

01

Discovery

Every project starts with a proper conversation: the goal, the audience, the deadline and what success looks like, read against the brief and the references. For a poster, a film or a single campaign piece, that is what it takes to start well.

For Men in Love: the brief in Irvine Welsh’s own words, before a single cover was drawn.

02

Research

For a brand, a campaign or a content programme, discovery goes deeper. Every touchpoint is audited, from the website to each social channel and how they connect. Competitors are mapped for what they do and what they miss. Thousands of posts across the category are gathered and sorted to find the formats that are winning, then read by a person for what they mean. The result is a clear position: where you stand, where the gap is, and why you are the one to fill it.

For Blonstein Productions: tens of thousands of archive images mapped before a single post was planned.

03

Strategy

Diagnosis before prescription. No work is proposed until the real problem is clear. Strategy is where the decisions are made: your position, your story, your voice, and what gets made, in what order and why. You see the reasoning before you see a frame, so every piece of work has something to answer to.

For Hearthworks: a clearer story and voice, and concept art that let customers picture a spa before it was built.

Spa concept: golden hour hangout
04

Production

Design, film, motion, 3D, sound and the web, made under one roof to one standard. The thinking and the making stay together, so nothing is lost in a handover. Big-studio craft, at the pace a small team needs.

For Renegade Soundwave Rewired: The Phantom on vinyl, with the record built in 3D.

05

Reporting

The work does not stop at launch. Regular, clear reports show what is working, what is not, and what changes because of it, with before and after numbers plain enough to share with anyone. Behind them, everything is kept fast, well made and performing, so the work keeps earning its place.

For Renegade Soundwave Rewired, in release week:

  • #54 to #14on the Beatport Techno Hype chart
  • +50%Spotify monthly listeners during release week
The release report for The Phantom

What working together feels like

  • You deal with me, from the first call to the final file.
  • The thinking and the making stay together, so nothing gets lost between departments.
  • A one-off project, or month by month.

I’ve built my own tools for the slow parts, research and checking, so my time goes on ideas and craft.

Ways to start

  • A project

One piece of work with a clear end: a campaign, an identity, a strategy, a film or a website.

  • Monthly content

Strategy and making, month by month, with the numbers reported as we go.

WorkThe person

Scott C. Booth

I’m Scott C. Booth, a creative director, and I know from the other side what it takes to get work heard. I’m also a guitarist: I’ve played all over the world, and my own music has gone viral more than once. Now I bring big-studio craft to the small teams behind big names: the strategy, the identity, the films, the motion and the website, made together so they work as one. The studio is mobile, so I work wherever the work is in the UK.

Get in touch

Scott C. Booth, black and white portrait

When you collaborate with someone on music, you think you know their skillset. But the Men in Love project demanded something far beyond just an album. It was a world that needed to be built from the ground up: the visual identity, the campaign, the physical artifacts, the entire digital presence. What became immediately apparent was that Scott wasn’t just the musician I was working with. He was the architect we needed. He possessed this entire other skillset that proved fundamental to the project’s success, and he stepped up to orchestrate the whole creative strategy with a rare and impressive vision. He has a hybrid mind: part musician, part storyteller, part world-builder. He doesn’t just see the big picture; he has the technical and artistic skill to build every single component of it. He was an essential partner in bringing that entire world to life.
